Anastasis Apartments Santorini is one of the most sensational boutique hotels in Imerovigli and one I recommend. My stay in Imerovigli was incredible!
From the stunning caldera views and dreamy Santorini sunsets to the service and hospitality I received from the owner Despina and her staff, it was personalised luxury at another level.
Anastasis Apartments are nestled at the highest point of the world’s largest inhabited caldera. That alone will give you some idea of why it is the best place to stay in Santorini.
So if you are looking for an incredible place to stay for a special occasion or simply some ‘me time’, the Anastasis Apartments will tick all the boxes.

Step Inside Anastasis Apartments For a Dreamy Santorini Stay
Arriving at Anastasis Apartments, we were greeted by three staff members, including Despina, the owner and given towels and a cool drink to welcome us.
We were then shown through glass doors to the pool and terrace, where the WOW factor began. The unbelievable views of the volcanic islands and blue sea swathed in the Greek sunshine were mindblowing!

Once we had picked our jaws up off the floor, the charming Myrah took us to a shaded seating area and took note of our food likes, dislikes and allergies and told us more about things to do in Santorini, from boat trips and wine tours to trips into Fira and Oia.
White Suite At Anastasis Apartments
Comprising comfortable apartments and larger suites, all accommodations at Anastasis Apartments have front-row undisturbed views of the Aegean Sea. One secluded, exclusive villa, set into the cliff face for complete privacy, is also available.

I stayed in the stunning White Suite for four nights during my holiday in Santorini.
The suite is on two levels and is white-washed in the traditional Santorini way. On the upper level are a bedroom, a bathroom, a balcony with loungers and a table and chairs for two. Downstairs is a kitchenette, dining table, chairs, and a built-in wardrobe.

Several apartments, including the White Suite, have a jacuzzi hot tub on their balcony. Perfect for sharing relaxing moments with your loved one and those all-important Santorini sunsets.

I spent lazy days swimming in the heated infinity pool and relaxing on the sun terrace. Each afternoon I enjoyed special touches, like iced coffees and sweet treats.

And in the evening, let the staff know where you would like to enjoy your complimentary sunset drinks. You can enjoy them on the pool terrace or your balcony. Choose from white, rose, red wine, or even the Greek favourite, Ouzo!
We ordered something to eat with our drinks each evening, which was always delicious.

Romantic Touches
One night, we returned to find the apartment lit with tealights and lanterns leading up the stairs to the bedroom.
Scattered rose petals everywhere, and a bottle of homemade Anastasis Licquor and two glasses completed the scene. These little gestures make Anastasis Apartments so special and leave you with great holiday memories.

Imerglovgli Walking Path to Fira and Oia
Being on the famous Fira to Oia path, you can enjoy a walk in either direction. Fira is closest to the apartments and is a pleasant 45-minute walk into town.
On the way to Fira (Thira), the island’s capital, you will see the white sugar-cubed cliffside properties and winding cobbled lanes for which Santorini is famous.
You will also pass Skaros Rock, with the remains of a fortress, a popular place to explore from the Fira trail.

Time to Dine at Anastasis Apartments
Anastasis Apartments don’t run a restaurant; however, room service is at an unbelievable standard.
Whoever the chef is could easily run a top Greek restaurant on Santorini. My mouth still waters at the thought of the feta me meli (baked feta in filo pastry with honey and sesame seeds)!
We couldn’t wait for our delicious breakfast each morning to see what we would get. There is no menu, but having completed your likes and dislikes on arrival, the kitchen will serve you a treat. Believe me when I say it is delicious!

It includes goodies like omelettes, greek yoghurt, fresh fruit and pastries.
Special touches like messages written on the plates or playful boiled egg holders and cute coffee cups bring a smile to your face each day. Perfection!

If you don’t want to leave the property, enjoy lunch beside your sun lounger or in your room. Still, if you fancy strolling into Imerglovgli town for a meal, there are several restaurants to choose from. Anogi was lovely and recommended by the hotel (although reserve a table as it is popular).
In the evening, order room service and enjoy those die-for caldera views while dining on your private balcony. What could be more romantic than watching the sun go down with the love of your life?

Communications at the hotel
Like everything at Anastasis apartment, the staff’s objective is to make a stay as relaxing as possible. Communication during a stay is done over WhatsApp. You don’t need to move from your sunspot or room to request anything unless you want a stroll to reception to say hello to Despina and the team.
By the end of your time at Anastasis Apartments, you will feel you are chatting with friends, not hotel staff!
During my stay, Myrah taught me some Greek words to use daily in my Whatsapp conversations. Easy things like Kalimera (good morning) and Kalispera (good afternoon), and I loved it! It was fun to learn a few basic greetings in Greek.

Review Conclusion
Sometimes, if you are lucky, you find a unique place to stay where you are made to feel like a valued individual, not simply another hotel guest. A place where the staff know what you want, even before you do, and subtly anticipate your every need.
So if you are ready to relax, enjoy top-class hospitality, watch some of the world’s best sunsets from your private balcony and be part of the Santorini dream, Anastasis Apartments will be the perfect place for you.

I paid in full for my stay at Anastasis Apartments and was not gifted any part of this trip. I am writing this review because I absolutely loved everything about my stay and want others to experience it. Efcharistó!
