Welcome to the beautiful county of Devon, located in southwest England.

With its stunning coastline, rolling countryside, picturesque villages and bustling towns, Devon has something for everyone.

Let’s start with the coastline – it’s simply breathtaking. Rugged cliffs and sandy beaches stretch for miles along the coast of North Devon, while South Devon boasts sheltered coves and estuaries perfect for water sports, surfing or a lazy day on the beach.

Some famous landmarks include the stunning Jurassic Coastline (a UNESCO World Heritage site), Dawlish Warren Beach, Salcombe Harbour and Dartmouth Castle.

If you want to explore inland, there are plenty of charming towns and villages to visit. In the East lies Sidmouth, with its Regency architecture and Otterton, with its working mill.

Fans of the novelist Agatha Christie will delight in visiting her home, Greenaway House in Dartmouth, overlooking the River Dart and now in the ownership of the National Trust.
