There is no big secret to making a traditional Aperol Spritz; you can look at the recipe label on the back of the bottle. However, all around the world, bartenders are making slight adjustments to the original ingredients resulting in unique variations of the Aperol Spritz taste.

Bartenders now serve Aperol Spritz with champagne for a real taste of luxury, with white wine and, Aperol Spritz with gin; the list is endless! And if you don’t like bubbles you can even have Aperol Spritz without prosecco – can you imagine!!

The last time I enjoyed a glass of orange nectar in Italy was on a trip to Venice. But don’t think you must be in Italy to enjoy the cocktail; you can recreate ‘La Dolce Vita’ anywhere.

Order a bottle of Aperol, Amalfi Limoncello and Campari online or find them in your supermarket, and then become a mixologist.

It is all about presentation with the Amalfi cocktail so be sure to serve in beautiful crystal spritz glasses to compliment the exquisite taste of Italy.
